What all makes and models of wheels will fit on my 97 Intrepid Sport?
Will all other Dodges' wheels match my bolt pattern?
What about other makes? I read something on here about mustang wheels fitting. Is that right?
I'm not really a fan of the 97 Intrepid wheels and I need new tires too so I figured I might as well find some wheels that I like and have new tires mounted at the same time

Any of the 2nd gen LH wheels 1998-2004 will be a direct interchange with the 1st gen cars. Just need the appropriate tires that came on those wheels. Only exception is the 15" wheels that came on early 2nd gen cars.

LX wheels from several models will fit but you have to be careful to make sure the tires are the correct size to match the original LH car outside diameter. If you find a deal on LX wheels the LX tires that come stock on them WILL NOT FIT on your 1st gen LX car. Or 2nd gen LH cars either. 20" wheels are a waste of money.

Also any 1st Gen LH car wheels will fit your 1997.

Wheel Lug Pattern is: 5x114.3 or 5x 4.5". Wheel width is usually 7-7.5". Stock offset is around 43mm depending on wheel and width.

16" diameter wheels are usually the cheapest and tires are cheapest.

17-18" LH wheels are a little more expensive and tire prices go up due to the "odd" tire size not as readily available as other cars.

Big thing to pay attention to is the lug pattern and offset.
