I recently just changed the following: 2 front tires, fuel filter, spark plugs, wires, a fuel pressure regulator, and 2 oxygen sensors. Before the install, I was getting a terrible gas smell and an extremely rough idle. The problems have been fixed, but I still only get about 200-250 miles to a full tank mainly highway with cruise set at 60-65. Is there anything else that could possibly cause this? I saw on a previous post that one guy's brakes seemed like they were rubbing or something like that. Now that I think about it, at low speeds there is a slight squeal from the breaks even if I dont hit the pedal...could this small amount of resistance be causing my mileage problem? thanks

I wish I could help with ur problem.. but mine kinda seemed like it did that too, sounded like my brakes were rubbing.. if U can find that post.. please send it to me.. [email protected] thanks

The only way that your brakes could be causing this problem is if, for some reason there was pressure in the lines, or the sliders were hung up on the calipers. One thing way that you would check this is to jack up each corner of the car and give the wheels a spin. They should turn pretty effortlessly, especially the back ones. If you don't jack up the entire front end you will have to put it in neutral. If you feel some drag then I would have to say take a look at the sliders on the calipers. If that isn't the problem or if it is a drag on the back wheels, check your parking brake adjustment.
I have the 3.5L as my sig says and I can get around 400-450 miles per tank on pure highway, but around town, where I drive like a bat out of hell!!!!, I can only get around 250-300 miles per tank. Going with the low numbers and the fact that when I refill I am always putting in 15 gallons of gas, that puts my mileage at ~17miles/gallon city and ~27miles/gallon highway.
Try jacking up your car someday. That is a really quick check to see if your brakes are causing the problem. If not then I would look into having your injectors serviced and your intake cleaned. That is what made the difference in my car.
