i had a set on my previous car, a pontiac sunbird... don't drive aggressively on them too much... after less than a year and about 10k miles, they detreaded. The drive wheels were the first to go. so i guess i wouldn't rate their treadlife as extraordinary. however, they had ok straight line traction but it was reduced heavily on cornering.
however, that was a smaller size and most likely not a touring tire by them... so your experience might be different than mine.
i personally prefer bridgestone... however there is one tire that goodyear makes that i love... however i have no the money to get either set that i want, so i am stuck on the bf goodrich that came with my car
