If the Intrepid Police Car has a 150 speedo in it there must be a part number for it somewhere. Could someone with access to that type of info look it up and post it? Pricing would be a bonus as well. I asked my local dealer, but they are clueless. Thanks in advance.

I could be wrong here, but I doubt this will be a part you can just order thru your local dealer....
Probably have to have some connections to get one, or wait for these police intrepids to end up in a junk yard....

That may be true, but it still does not hurt to have that type of information on hand in case I run into one. If I were to run across someone selling said item online, this info would give me some verification of what they are trying to sell me.

Currently the 2002 parts are not listed, but when it is available, you should be able to order it here. http://www.oem-car-parts.com
On the 2001 model, it looks like the speedometer assembly goes for around $160 so be ready with your wallet if you want a new part.

the instrument cluster yer talking about is NOT gonna be cheap. my dealer told me the 150mph unit LISTS at 1000 BUCKS !(yeah hes got a listing, i saw it). he can do a little better for me being in the parts biz, but not to expect miracles.
thats because youre getting the WHOLE assembly and not just the speedo. tach, gas n temp gauge included. the stock ones for our cars run 650 bucks at the dealer, which is CRAZY. even that OEM PARTS site listed instrument clusters for like 550 bucks.

i dont know what you were looking at that was only $160 sURF, but i dont think it was the guages. for 550 bucks + tax, i think id rather get an exhaust system and a cold air intake on my car than spend that kinda dough on something thats not going to do much but show me how fast i SHOULDNT be going

luckily ... its only $1000 CDN ... so its like what ... 65 cents USD
as for an upgrade, yeah i guess you can call it that. more like a sideways grade cuz youre not really gaining anything in all practicality. kinda neat i suppose,
but id rather spend the $1000 bucks on a set of bigger wheels, or a start (or finish in my case) to a better sound system, or that stainless dynomax muffler and tails with tips etc etc etc
