Our 1996 Chrysler Concorde may be in need of motor mounts. Should I use the solid rubber variety, or the mushy (hydraulic) kind? I can actually get the mushy kind at NAPA for less than the solid variety.

Motor size is 3.5 L.

Thanks.

Upon further review, we may need sub-frame bushings as well.

Is Dorman the only aftermarket bushings available? I hear they are not that good, and I don't think Mopar makes them anymore.

I believe Polybushings makes polyurethane sub frame bushings for our cars.
Don’t know if they still have any. I talked to them probably 5 or more years ago, and they said they don’t make them anymore - only have them until what they have on the shelf are gone:

polyurethane FWD LH Mopar cradle mounts

You might need new cradle bushing bolts too. Dealer? Aftermarket? Come with the Dorman bushings (throw the bushings away)? I can’t remember where they are available now. (A quick look at Rock Auto shows that the bolts do come with the Dorman crap bushing set.)
