Check out these pictures that were sent to me (I'm not sure by who, so if you sent them, what is your screen name??)

Here's what he said in the e-mail:

This is the way I bought it. It is the Bill Elliot NASCAR model. I bought it to go to car audio competition. I have changed the exhaust from the cat back, tinted the windows, Next week it gets lowered 2”, Then it goes to the stereo shop where it will sit for about 2-3 months for the custom installation.
Can't wait to see it when it's done :)

It looks to be that a dealership has done that car up, look at the spots where the plates go. I do not think I would drive a car with soo much **** all over it. But its still sweet to see, I like the exhaust tip.

Personally, I wouldn't want it to drive as my everyday car. But it seems that he is using it for "car audio competitions", and in my opinion, I think this trep is a good choice for that :)

they wouldn't use it as a pace car since it would look like one of the cars on the field.

I have actually seen a couple of those type of vehicles here in Columbus. I live close to a guy with a RAM truck done up like Bill Elliot's car, and I have seen a matching Intrepid on the highway.

Maybe it was some sort of super expensive option package. Who knows. Too much on the car for me. The guy I see with the truck uses it as a daily driver, but I have only seen the Intrepid a couple times. Maybe it's being used as a show / competition vehicle too...

Sorry about not sending my login name with the pics. I am new to this site. I bought this intrepid to go to stereo competitions because an intrepid is acoustically very nice, and this one stands out from other cars ( you need every edge you can get). It will be a sponsered car (can't so who until it is all worked out). I will be running on the pro stereo tour and hopefully the car will be ready for show around March or so. This is not a "daily driver" car. It will be trailered to all the shows. BUT it is still fun to drive. I have read alot of the posts and I am checking into turbos' supercharging, rewriting the software in the brain, and any other mods that can be done.

I would hope that it eventually geys the muscle to support the racing graphics. Kind of dumb to have a 'race' car ith no punch.
I saw a D. Earnhardt Monte Carlo with the big #3. Looked okay but if all he had was the base 3.8L, what a shame.

i personally think it's nifty! and i would have probably done that with my ride, had there been a dodge driver i actually liked!

but she won't have anything to do with it....she gave me the "...I've never said no to anything you have wanted, but.."

oh well.

OK here is what I know so far. Kenne Bell located in LA says you send them your computer and they will rewrite the software in it. They said it will give you 10 more ponies for about $350.00. Their phone # is (909) 941-1375. Also I checked with Paxton Automotive because they have a supercharger for the prowler 3.5L engine. They said that the throttle body is oposite on the prowler versus the Intrepid. They told me if anyone could fabricate one up it would be Climax Area 51, also in LA. They do that sort of thing. There phone # is (805) 278-3841. I left a message for the main guy to call me . So we will see. I'll keep you informed. Still working on the nitro, trying to find a real kit for the Intrepid and not an universal one.
