Just wanted to share that around February my 2.7 hit 100,000 miles. (Refer to my sig for an updated mileage). Nothing but Mobil 1 Synthetic motor oil. I've been out of the loop as far as this site goes since the new year. So yeah, just wanted to share that with you.

No mechanical issues this year at all either (knock on wood!)

I've got 104000 on my 99 2.7 with no major problems - just regular oil changes with Amsoil and Purolator filters. It is using about a quart of oil every 1500 miles due to valve seals which one of these days I'll get around to changing. Other than that I love the car. My son bought an 02 ES with the 3.5 that he is very happy with.

well,, after my last trip last week to ohio and northers Wisconsin and back to TN,, im showing 129.000 and change,, im gonna get 200k out of the 2.7 yet!! :elefant:

115k on mine and it changes it's own oil,I just put a quart or two in a week and keep going,then again I don't care if mine lasts much longer or not because I am going 3.5 very very soon.

my Dad just put in Moblie-1 about a month ago. When he changed over, he was at 145,000miles, on the 2.7. and its still has plently of get up and go. (considering its a 2.7 LOL)

I had 142k miles on my 2.7 when I destroyed it! :biggrin: My bad!
No I have a car with 162k miles and ~40k on the motor. Starting to feel it's age a bit, but not ready to be replaced just yet! lol!
