First off, this isn't the first FWD mopar I've owned/modified. I had a 1992 Dodge Spirit with a modded 3.0, custom built tranny and nitrous, sadly I've lost pix of that car to show it and the last I saw it someone had riced it out really bad. I built that car when I was a little less mature with my handling a car that could peg out the speedo. This time I'm just wanting something fun to drive, and I know an Intrepid isn't the first car most people think about, but it's comfortable to drive and the price was right. I've liked Intrepid's since they first came out, tried to buy a 2g a few years ago but the finance company couldn't get me a rate I could handle. A lot of these projects I'm planning on my car are really simple, really the car was just not taken care of after it was damaged, it needs to be cleaned up and given some TLC.

Current Projects:
Repair Dents/damage
New Brakes (F&R)
New Wheels
New Subframe bushings
New CV Joints

Future Mods:
Intake system (all aluminum)
Exhaust system
Rebuild/refresh interior (new carpet & headliner, and replace what's broken which is no short list)

Pix of the roof damage and the dent in the rear, the only real problem my car has.

yeah, I would have passed on it but I know a guy that does body work for a living and works for a shop that lets him do stuff on the side too, he said he could fix for me, so I decided to jump on it... that and I talked the seller way down off the asking price. I just need to get enough money saved so I can get it to him.

Actually yeah, it's a funny story. The previous owners lived in a trailer park and one of their neighbors had an aluminum carport, I see them advertised all the time around here "599 delivered & set up" well, they did not have it secured to the ground well and during a large wind storm last year it was blown and thrown against the Intrepid and a Mustang, It apparently did enough damage to the Intrepid to total it out. Now I've looked at the damage and the door jamb/seal is still straight, it's mostly sheetmetal damage, IMO it looks like it could probably be pulled out with a stud gun. The rear damage is less humorous, they backed into something crushing the original tail light, I'm trying to find a yard that will let me cut that section out of the rear so when I take it to get the body work done he can replace the tail light bucket with a good one instead of trying to rebuild whats there.

I don't know if this is true, but I think the back of the car that is damaged is just a body panel that can be removed, but again, I am not sure.
Well, yeah it can be be removed... but only with a torch or cut-off wheel.
