This is what happens to your Intrepid RT when you put it nose-first into a ditch. I missed the two deer that were in the road, I just wish the road I was on had a paved shoulder. As it was I swerved to miss the deer, got on the gravel shoulder and lost control when the loose gravel started rolling under the tires. This happened late last year and my Intrepid has long been fixed, just thought you guys might like to see a few of these pics...

Ouch!! And I thought that it was bad when I tagged a parking garage after pulling into a spot too far. Well I guess yours could be worse though. Did it trip the air bag sensors? That would really suck to tear up your dash too.

First off, sorry to those with smaller computer screens, I forgot to re-size the pics before posting.

Yeah, My air bags most definitely went off. It was the first time I had been in a car when air bags were deployed. I had read about how fast the suckers deployed, but the experience was a whole other thing. I did not even realize they had gone off until they were mostly deflated.

LoL, I took of a tollway gate once in my old car (taurus). No damage to my car, those things come off easily

I honestly could not answer you. I'd have to go dig out the paperwork. My insurance company was really good about paying off everything (except deductable of course) with no questions asked. All told the repair work came to almost $9000.

About's how fast were you going? Was there engine damage? $9000 seems pretty steep.
