alas, after just getting my car fixed finally from a accident in the summer where i was rearended, i get hit again. On saturday night i was traveling along a main st. in my city, every adjacent street has a stop sign, i was just going through a intersection when a lady in a toyota corolla t-bones me!! she managed to hit my rear right quarter panel. She was driving fast enought to spin my trep! so i stoped and got out, my bumper is fubared and so is hers, but then i notice that my trunk lid is kinda poped up on the right side, and i notice that the end of my car is literally bent!! my frame has been bent!! so the police show up and he says that she was definelty in the wrong. So im gonna charge her with everything i can and make sure that my car will be given back to me the way it was before the accident. Im just worried now because if the damage is $2000+ they will probably call it a right off, since its a 94' with 245,000km. So tomorrow i go to the station to get a formal write p of the events that took place. So i just felt lke sharing, oh and another tid bit, i have been hit three times in the past year, 2 minor then this one, and each and everytime it was a FEMALE driver that hit me, and i have to pay more than them for insurance!!!!! this world is backwards!!

Really sorry to say but, based on your descriptions, I can almost bet that the damage is going to easily exceed $2000.

ya, funny enought though there is very little visible damage, thats why the lady pissed me off, she said that she couldn't see anything, and she just didnt understand that you can damage internals as easily as the body panels.

yo hardwarz, how can you say that, this is the first car i ever loved. I have done to much to it to just let it go, and im not to sure if i would like a newer trep. i dunno, im gonna wait till i talk to my insurance comp. about getting it fixed.

If your description is accurate ("she managed to hit my rear right quarter panel. She was driving fast enought to spin my trep! so i stoped and got out, my bumper is fubared and so is hers, but then i notice that my trunk lid is kinda poped up on the right side, and i notice that the end of my car is literally bent!! my frame has been bent!!"), then I agree. It's not worth fixing, and it will most likely not quite be the same if you had it fixed. Think about it....10 year old car...245km's on the clock... IF it's that badly damaged, the insurance company would most likely write if off. But, that's just going by your description...

ya i took it to a shop today, luckily my frame isn't bent, just the trunk itself, so they can fix that pretty easliy about a $1000 they said, and the bumper will be $200 for it then $500 for painting. so intotal about $1700, i hope its not gonna be a right off to them , up here a right off is when the damages are 75% of the cars current value.

thankfully you're ok though...

I've been in a total of 2 accidents my entire life... **knocks on wood** first time, a woman who is running late for work runs a red light and t-bones me.... second... got hit head on by a drunk 18 y/o .... GIRL!!! who... of course... did NOT have insurance....

You're right, guys do pay more for insurance than women... it sucks, it's always been that way.... I agree it should change, but I seriously doubt it will.
