Speeking of Bra's, Thrasher... back in '89 we took a vacation to Melbounre Fla. to visit grandma. Being 18 and into car audio at the time, my dad and I visited a few shops in that area. We ran across a neat bra that seemed like it would be the revolution of the industry. It was custom molded of clear plastic (same material as the Ventshades) to match the front of your car. It was attached to the car by bolting to your front license plate and had small plastic "nipples" that held it off the car about 1/4". Alot of people had them because you didn't have to take them of after it rained. (we all know about the haze your paint will get if you leave a wet bra on for extended periods of time). I would love to know if the company that made these is still around. Anyone seen these or had problems with them?

I take mine off every now and then, so there will (hopefully) be no damage.

I just recently took it off 2 weekends ago. It took a lot of cleaning, but you still can't tell it was ever on there. I'll probably leave it off for a while, then put it back on when I feel like it, again :)

I have the same one as Randy....you can see a line of dirt when you take it off, but with a little rubbing with some wax, you really can't tell it was ever there.

Randy, is the lettering on your bra starting to look a little dinghy? Was wondering if you know a way to clean it. I can't think of anything, do you have any ideas on how to clean just the lettering?

I've also got the same bra on mine. I leave it on all the time, wet, dry, just not the winter. I get a ton of dirt under it and have yet to get anything that a little detailer mist or wax won't take off. As long as you keep it waxed really good under there you're fine.

what about paint fade? I am seriously thinking about one of these, but would sure hate to have a 2 tone red hood.

Hey Randy, not tryin to make you feel bad, but I only paid $38 for my headlight covers and $60 for a full bra (my bro got me the hookup on that one...) It doesn't have "Interpid" stitched into it, but i think [on my car] it looks better w/o it

Guess I'm a little bit late on this one but I too just bought the hood cover and it was like 40 some bucks at the time. Got it right from the parts department at a dodge dealer. Oh by the way, I've actually taken some pictures of my car completely clean and once I get them developed I'll be sending them in.... only if I had a digital camera.
