Well, I drove by the dealer where I traded my car last week when I was getting lunch today. Right in front was my 98 Platinum ES :) Damn, it feels weird not owning it.

I'm gonna go on Sunday (when no one's there) just to see what they're asking for it ;)

Maybe I'll take a few last pics of it for sale :D

Anyone interested :p

When I traded in the 1st gen for the second one, I used to see it driving around my neighborhood, saw it for a while, but I have not seen her around, hope everything is alright.. its just kinda weird to see someone else drivin a car that was yours, just hope that they take as good of care as I did with her.

I just stopped on the way home from dropping off my girlfriend to see how much they wanted.

$14,000!!!

I loved that car, but even I know it's not worth that much :( I have a feeling it may be sitting there for a while...

Anyways, I was surprised they left the "DODGE" logo across the windsheild, and the DI.Net logo on the side :) It may be good advertising for us? Maybe the person who buys it will become a member....

Oh yeah! They make a killing on the used cars. Ever wonder why the new car dealers put the used cars in the front and the new cars in the back? ;)

When I traded in my 94 F-150 4X4 back in 98, The dealer gave me $15K for it. They sold it a week later to a guy that lived down the street from me for $18,500.

Thats not too bad. You pretty much got your book value for the car. I know from experience that dealers will always try to shaft you for your trade.

I got $9000 for my '97 civic EX.

Last year when I bought my RT, I got $1500 for a '92 Buick LeSabre (named Grandpa) with 96K miles. I was glad to even get that.

I swear I came make 2-3 thousand a month buying a used car at auction, fixing it up & reselling it for a nice profit!

Screw this computer business sh%t!

I do notice the used cars ARE in the front even out here in Cali.

I dont doubt the Intrepid is an easy car to sell. The resale value is bad, which will attract buyers looking to find a bargain. Plus the car appeals to more than one type of buyer... you can sell to a single person looking for a "sweet" looking ride, or you can sell to a family looking for a car to fit all their kids and cargo in.

Plus if you have the extended warranty, its even easier to sell, as the warranty can be transferred to the next owner.
