okay im thinking of buying some 6k HIDS for my intrepid...thing is will i get stopped if i get the purple ones? anyone know what the laws for HID are? pleasee message me back if you know! REALLY NEED THE HELP

Don't get anything higher than 6k. Above that, the color starts heading towards a Smurf color and the light output really suffers. I saw a Taurus a while back that must have had 20k HID's b/c everything in front of his car was BLUE. I don't see how the cops wouldn't pull you over for that. 6k should be safe with just a hint of blue. Are you doing the driving lights or fogs?

I once saw am older looking Lexus LS (with the big looking headlights) and the guy had pink looking HID's, it looked horrible.

But yeah stick with anything below 6000K.
