I have a 2001 Intrepid that my husband and I swapped the motor in about 9 months ago. The A/C has never worked right since the swap, and now we are getting a computer code 1598-A/C pressure sensor volts too high. Does anyone know what this means, and if so, how we fix it? Does the a/c sensor need replacing?

When we first did the swap, the a/c worked occasionally, it would blow cold air for a while, the hot air. After a while it stopped blowing cold air all together. When it first happened we didn't bother with it because it was almost winter and we didn't need it. The defroster worked but not that well.

Can anyone help us? :)
