THANKS

I saw some of those at an auto parts store, the kind that strobe with the music. Do they look pretty cool when you're playing music? I thought about getting them but wasn't sure what it would be like.

I go one hell of a deal on my neons, I went and bought 2 15 inch blue neons at autozone for 20 dollars each, later that day I'm in walmart and I find they have the exact same neon, (pulses to music and everything) for 9.95 a piece!!!! I was like holy **** give me all you have! they only had 4 blue ones, so I got 4 neons for the price of 2 at autozone. CRazy, and the walmart ones are even longer than the autozone.....he he....I would check your local walmart at the tire section, or radio section for these neon deals, they said they were only for christmass....

yeah they look sweet. they have a little knob on the side so you can adjust the sensitivity. you can make them pulse with your factory bass or with a system.

Do you have the kind that you plug into your cigarette lighter or are they wired into your car? And do you have to wire it up to your system for it to pulse with the music?

they come with the cig adapters but i cut them off and wired them to a switch. i sent Randy a how-to on this but im not sure when its gonna get up. No you dont have to wire them to your system. The have sensors inside the light bar.

I bought two blue ones today. Pretty sweet. Only $9.97 at Walmart, not a bad deal at all, I just hope that there not so cheap that they break in two days.

It is pretty cool with the music. I'm on the fence a little because I've always been opposed to any neon on the car and thought it was kind of ricey, but I have to admit, put a little techno on and it looks real cool. So who cares what anyone else thinks.

Right now I've just got them rigged up to the cigarette lighter with a splitter. I'll wait until he posts that How To before I do anything else....Should there be any concern about power drain on the battery?

I just looked, they are made by Studio 54. I found them at a regular Walmart, they were in kind of a weird place, not over by all the halogen bulbs and fog lights like you would have thought, but they had a huge stack of all colors on a high shelf. Your best bet would be to call around, one of them is bound to have them.

Okay, I am going to try to wire these two neon sticks up to the car. It sounds like a lot of you guys are splicing it into the wire that goes to the little ash tray light. What is the best way to do this? Also, is there any way to wire up a dimmer of some sort? It would be a pain to have to reach under the car and twist both of those little knobs everytime you want to change the light to either always on or flickering with the music.

id wire them to a switch if i were you. not through the ash tray light. and yes its kind of a pain to mess with the lights so you might want to pull over when doing so.
