I talked with a guy that makes custom body kits for the dodge stratus cars on dreamspeed performance. He told me he can make a custom kit for $700 per kit. The problem is, he doesnt want to make just one kit. He wants at least 10 cars to order this custom kit for the intrepid 1st gen. He said he has several different ideas to chose from. But, 1 kit must be made......
What do you say guys? Can we get 10 people to sign up pretty soon for this body kit? only $700

Id be interested in what kind of designs are available, or what we as a group have to choose from. I kinda want to keep my sleeper look, but I might go down the body kit route when i get enough money.

They are only turnouts, not side pipes. Heres a couple pics.

Ok, doode, that body kit is nothing new, the same one we've seen before. but that price is alot less than the other site. but I dont have that kinda money to commit, and besides, I think im gonna keep my sleeper look. Im doing a spoiler, and rims, but thats about it I think. Well, sorry.

But, like i said, that price is like $500 less than the site that we keep seeing, so if anyone else was even considering it, I would jump on the wagon now.

if you are going to get that kit from showcars, DON'T! the fiberglass work on it sucks, i got the whole dang thing & it took 3 days to sand it almost smooth, and there are still potholes in it. it took FORVEVER to get, i am generally pissed off about the whole thing since it's a canadian company & i have no legel recourse

I am assuming this price is $700 US??

The www.show-cars.com is a Canadian company, and so the $1200 for the body kit is in Canadian dollars.

If the price of this new guy's body kit is in US dollars, then it isn't that great of a deal is it? $700 US is about $1000 or more Canadian.

So if you were from the US and were going to buy the sow-cars.com kit, you would be paying around 800 or so....

i would be interested but i would have to wait till summer before i have that kind of money. i like the way that looks wow! well i would need some kind of guarentee that they will be of top quality. and do they come painted? well im interested for sure but let me know not till summer though
