Now i was thinking. What is the first thing guys usually do to thier car first. The stereo system right. I think we should have an stereo system section. People could post what they have. They could also help other people in need. We could get ideas, how-to's, give recomendations. What do you guys think of that?

I think that would be a good idea. I could probably help out in that forum a lot. Installing car audio is what I did for a job while going through my 5 years of college. I'm about to get ready installing all my gear in my 00 R/T soon as well.

Yeah thats true. That is a good idea you should do that randy heheh :D :D :D :D
"Good thinking Batman!! Open up a Bat-Forum, for the Bat-Stereo."

:D :D :D :D
That is the most stupid idea I have ever heard!!!!!

Ok, actually it's a damn good idea. I'm just jealous because I didn't think of it. :D
sorry but my whole stereo upgrade went like this, buy subwoofer, pay installer to install subwoofer on top of existing Infinity system, play with crossover ontrols until it sounded great, leave it the hell alone.

In other words, I won't be much help.

IMO, it's not much of an upgrade with only adding a subwoofer. Once I finish my install in my 'Trep, I'll gladly offer anyone near Orlando an open invitation to audition what one can do with entirely aftermarket audio equipment.

hey randy if you think about making this section you could also add neon lighting to it, there has been alot of talk about that too. Just an idea
joekd - thanks for the excellent How-to. :D
That's the only mod I intend to make on my system. I don't want to lose my steering wheel controls, so the stock head unit stays.

BTW... Why is the stock Infinity system considered "crappy"?

I never said it was crappy, but it's definitely not on par with any mid-high end aftermarket system. Of course, that's my opinion and I'll never own a vehicle in which I think the factory system is sufficient for accurate music reproduction.

Yeah i think we definately need a specific forum for car audio. Im pretty good at installing and i think i could give pretty good advice if we had that forum (not tryin to push it or anything ;) :D )
I'm down with that...because for one thing, I know I ain't the only one who can't figure out how to replace those rear 6x9's. Why is it such a pain in the royal ass
