Damn it! I knew this was going to happen. In December, I replaced my tires that were going bald. I questioned whether my Intrepid was going to last another 50k miles, but it was dangerous driving in snow on bald tires. So I spent $463 at Tire Rack on these brand new Goodyear GT's. Popped them on at the end of December.
Well guess what? Less than 2 months/1000 miles later, my car dies in the middle lane of a highway, 1/2 a mile from Laguardia Airport having just picked up my in-laws. Blown water pump, blown engine. The sludge monster claims another victim.
I'm stuck with these brand new tires that the mechanic took off the car. Does anyone want to buy these things from me? I have the full email receipt from Tire Rack dated 12-19-2014. I'd be willing to sell them for $325 picked up in NYC. Or I can ship them for whatever charge UPS, USPS, or FEDEX charges. There's almost no wear on these at this point, I drive like a granny.
Email me.
