i sent my car up and got a keyless entry installed and obviously they didn't check ot it don't work but when i get the car back i had a check engine light on and a p0463 is there any way they caused this? my fuel guage still reads correctly so not sure what info is sent on circuit "A" that is needed and where the wires are ran. any help would be great to know if its coincidence or if they screwed me over.

Symptom List:
P0462-FUEL LEVEL SENDING UNIT VOLTS TOO LOW
P0463-FUEL LEVEL SENDING UNIT VOLTS TOO HIGH
Test Note: All symptoms listed above are diagnosed using the same tests.
The title for the tests will be P0462-FUEL LEVEL SENDING
UNIT VOLTS TOO LOW.
When Monitored and Set Condition:
P0462-FUEL LEVEL SENDING UNIT VOLTS TOO LOW
When Monitored: Ignition on and battery voltage above 10.4 volts.
Set Condition: The fuel level sensor signal voltage goes below 0.4 volts for more than 90
seconds.
P0463-FUEL LEVEL SENDING UNIT VOLTS TOO HIGH
When Monitored: Ignition on and battery voltage above 10.4 volts.
Set Condition: The fuel level sensor signal voltage at the PCM goes above 9.9 volts for
more than 90 seconds.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
FUEL PUMP MODULE WIRING HARNESS INTERMITTENT
TEST ACTION APPLICABILITY
1 With the DRB, read the DTC’s.
Is the Warm-up Cycle counter equal to zero for P0462?
All
Yes ® Refer to symptom FUEL LEVEL SENDING UNIT FAILURE in
the INSTRUMENT CLUSTER category.
No ® Go To 2
2 Note: Visually inspect the wiring harness leading to the fuel pump module.
Look for any parts of the wiring harness that may be pinched or rubbed
through.
Turn ignition on.
With the DRB, monitor the fuel level sensor voltage.
Using the wiring diagrams for harness and connector location, wiggle the Fuel Pump
Module harness and related connectors.
Was there any fuel level sensor voltage change?
All
Yes ® Repair the wiring harness as necessary.
Perform Powertrain Verification Test VER-2A.
No ® Test Complete.

Is the keyless entry system installed aftermarket? If so...who knows what they screwed with.

Dodge has a RKE Remote Keyless Entry kit addon that's plug and play. If that was available that would've been the way to go.

And you really need to state Year/Engine/Trim Level for these technical posts. We're not mind readers and I for one don't feel like researching your posts to find that information.

will this cause issues with the pump itself or can i drive it with no potential issue since a fuel pump is 182.99 i need to work while i save up for that.
