Just wanted to say hey as I just bought my first Intrepid Wednesday afternoon.I traded my 2000 Stratus in to get it.

I really liked my Stratus but there was no way I could pass this one up.It's a 2001 SE Motorsports.No way to describe the feeling this gives me.I haven't felt like this since I bought a '69 Camaro when I was 17.In short,I'm all giddy about it.

Any ideas on the production numbers on the Motorsports editions? Also,I have seen varying opinions on the first oil change.500 miles,1000 miles,etc.Any feedback on this would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome, and congrats!

I changed my oil for the first time just after 500 miles and switched over to Mobil 1 synthetic oil and filters. It's supposed to be the best.

Ottowrkr might have an idea on the production numbers for the motorsports package.
