Hi Lance here. I have referred to these forms many times so I figured it was about time to join the community. I plan having my 2000 Chrysler Concord LXI for a very long time. I love the car and want to keep working on it but as of right now the car does not run I have yet to diagnose the problem. I have been trying to fix it myself for awhile and still haven't got it to run right. So, the plan is after I get back from basic training I am going to take it to a shop to diagnose the problem to fin if it's worth fixing. If not I plan on getting a newer 300M.

Hi Lance - I am new here too - I am Harvey!

Did you get the 200 Concorde not running or did it die on you? What happens when you try to start it? What codes do you have? There are some really great people on here that have already got mine back on the road. Oh, and thanks for your service!

Cheers

No problem sir. Before I had the car my mom had it for 10 years and then gave it to me when she got her 06 Charger. It had issues one day when I had to make a u turn on a highway so I mashed the gas and the car went into really high rpms and didn't shift until I let off the peddle. After that I was in a parking lot and it would die at idle when the cooling fan kicked on or the power steering turned on. I replaced a bunch of stuff and got it alittle better but it still wouldn't shift right and would die when it got hot if you didn't two foot it. Then after driving it like that for a bit it died again but this time is making a grinding noise. The hard part is the check engine light isn't on and the self diagnostic hook up has a broken prong but the check oil light is still on even after changing the oil.
