ugh i just called the dealer/body shop, they are hesitant to paint the mirrors because of the plastic material and fear it may peel down the road....

Ya, in april I got rear-ended by some fool on the freeway, so when I took my car to the body shop I told them to color match my mirrors. They did it with no problems, I think the dealer will not do anything like that, you have to take it to a body shop
