I know there's been several posts on tires in the past, but I wanted to see if anyone has a opinion on these. I'm replacing my Ga's tomorrow with Michelin Pilot XGT v4's. I did a good bit of research on tirerack, and they seemed to be a really good all season, and should be a hell of alot sportier than the Ga's.
I replaced the GA's on my 99ES with Goodyear RS-a's, and they were a improvement, but since it's time for my 01 Es to get new rubber, I wanted to try something different.
I drive mainly inOhio, VA and WV, so I have to deal some with snow. I have 25,000 miles on my GA's after 9 months and they are now lousy in the rain. I don't want to deal with the snow with these.
So, anyone else have any experience with the Pilots? They get much better ratings than the plain XGT's, and the V rated actually got better wet/snow ratings than the H's. I spend the majority of time 75 to 85mph on interstate/divided highways.
They were a little pricey, but I'm looking forward to them.
Any opinions?
Dave
