Cool!! Another Thundering Herd fan. Did you go to Marshall? I've heard good and bad about that Tornado device. I would like to see how the intake from K&N performs if someone gets one for their car. I'm also interested in anything that Dreamspeed develops for the trep if they are still looking into it. I'm wandering also if anyone has had any experience with the Jacobs Ignition system. I hear them advertising during the G. Gordon Liddy show on the radio but I've not seen any performance numbers from them either.

Grad Dec 98 Marshall. Western Mich fan good to see you. I wish you had beat Toledo! However , I can see Marshall, Miami Ohio and West Mich being the best in the MAC next year. Toledo loses too many!

Graduated in June 2000 from WMU. I dunno, Toledo usually has a tough program. They may be losing a lot, but I still think they will be strong. I guess we'll find out later this year.
Something that bugs me....why is the MAC championship game always played at Marshall??? That just gives Marshall an unfair advantage.
I think every couple of years each school gets to bid on hosting the MAC Championship. I don't think we hosted it this year but I think they are bidding on it for next season. We did have it for few years back to back and that homefield advantage helps. Plus it is one killer stadium they have for a school their size.
And if they get the Championship game in Huntington, I'll buy dinner for you Warlord, if you come to the game.

For the MAC championship game, I think it should either rotate between all the schools yearly, or it should be played at the home of the team with the better record.
As for stadiums, Waldo Stadium (which is Western's home football stadium) uses a new type of turf that is only used in one other stadium in the United States (or was that the world). How's that for being cool?!
I wish I remembered the details of that turf, but I do remembering it being sweet as hell.

I would really like to see it played in a neutral site, that really brings it back to who can bring in the most fans. Although the out of town money is good for a community,ya can't help it if you want to see it in your own backyard.

I wish I remembered all the details about that turf when I heard about it on the news. If I remember correctly, it was more like natural grass, but required less maintaince, kept longer, better drainage properties, softer and more grip. Damn I wish I remembered the details!
Doesn't Randy go to MAC school also. I was just near the campus a few days ago. They have a 2nd. Gen Intrepid for Police/Security, it's cool. I'll get a picture someday. Didn't get a digital camera from anyone for my birthday, so I guess I'm gonna buy one soon.
