New to the forum. Pics of my 2001 Dodge Intrepid Motorsports Edition SE

Hi all. I am new to this forum. Thought I would introduce myself and post a couple pics of my 2001 Dodge Intrepid Motorsports Edition SE 2.7. They are not pictured, but I still have 6 of the Eagle 1 yellow lettering tires. I bought this car for my daughter 5 years ago and now she has moved on to something else and it is all mine. There are some paint chips but no rust. Only has 72,000 miles. Look forward to browsing the forum.

Thanks !! Ed IMG_20190616_130933.jpg

Western PA....This car was put in storage every winter up until 5 years ago. We have run it lightly in the winter for the last 5 years. I run it with junk rims and winter tires for my daughter. I will be storing it again for the winter now that she has a different car. The winters here can be nasty but it goes pretty well with good winter tires on it. Do you think it is worth keeping....like do you think it is a car where the value will increase because of the limited production of this model? I have always been a Mopar guy and really like this car. I bought it for her but it was really for me as my wife always says...lol

Not much value in any LH car. Realistically the only items MotorSports editions had were the black wheels, Door MS Stickers, Floor mats with MS logo and the Goodie package with the model, etc. Flame Red Paint. There were only 4 colors offered for the MS Editions. None different than the colors offered on all other Intrepids. And you have an SE Trim...the lowest trim level with no options found on the R/T or ES.

KBB indicates $1428-2499 Private Party Value for an SE with your mileage in your area.

The MotorSports package didn't add any performance options over the standard trims. Just some stickers and wheels slapped on a standard car.

Check metal brake lines for corrosion. :)

Check especially near the brake line junction block (or ABS controller if it has ABS), and just ahead of the driver’s side rear wheel and the one that goes over to the rear passenger-side wheel at the rear cradle.
