I called around to find out if the variable muffler will go on our cars, so we can get a high-performance exhaust without sounding horribly loud.
Apparently since the car is brand new, no one as ordered the new muffler and so it has to be special ordered from Japan and will cost $680 canadian.
Also there's no telling how it will work in our cars without independent testing. There's no way to figure out how the exhaust flows differ between an Intrepid and a Maxima.
If anyone wants to do it, I'd be very happy to hear the results
