Hello all...

I have a 97 3.5 intrepid 93,000

When my left rear wheel hits a bump I hear a thud/grind, sort of sounds like to rusty pieces of metal rubbing together. I quick visual inspection didn't expose anything so I need to dig into this one a bit.

Does anyone have any ideas what to look for first? Do I jack it up with weight on or off the tires for an inspection? Are there some common parts you all have replaced?

Thanks in advance
Ken

Try to get that corner up on a jack stand with the wheel off, and then compress the suspension with a hydraulic jack. Maybe you can localize it that way.
