Well, as most of us here have encountered the weather stripping falling off our doors thus causeing the plastic covering to peel off the rubber. Here is a simple solution to that. I am doing mine as a 2 tone I guess you could say. I took a razor to it and seperated at the lines inside. I will take a pic 2morrow and show you what I mean. Then you just start peeling it away. Since the temps are around the mid 90's during the day here...it was that much easier to get it off. If you are confused at all...I will post pics 2morrow.

Are you talking about the side moldings on the car?
No.

Here is my wifes trep to show the before of what I mean.

Here is my car in the process of removal

And here is a look at the finish. I still have to clean it up, but it has the 2-tone look to it.

Now...not only have I fixed the weather stripping from falling off...I have eliminated the peeling as well. Now I have 2 toned weather stripping. :icon_razz

Some might also ask...why not just glue it? Tried and failed. I have used crazy glue and alot of the other glues out there and it would not hold. So I peeled it off. Easier solution in the long run.
