I was coming home from a lady friends house at like 2am, waiting patiently at a light and up pulls a badly riced out civic. Im guessing it was around a '94 or '95 ( i dont really know my civics). I was tired and not in the mood for this cocky rice boy's crap. His car was typical. Had the picnic table spoiler, fugly paint, stupid rims, pissed off bumble bee sounding exhaust, imitation scoops, and some decals i couldnt read cuz im not japanese. He starts revving when he sees me looking at his car. I was just thinking ,"*sigh* here goes...". I gave him a little rev and got a double take from my not-so-family-car sounding exhaust, hehe. Light turns green and i dust his ass to about 40 and then i slow down. Its only a 25 MPH zone. And he does the 'ol loser fly-by. It was dark so i didnt see if it was an EX or what. Doesnt really matter i guess, moral of the story "Dont mess with a trep in a crappy civic!"

Ya I got a 3.3 94 trep and enjoy smoking those little 4 cylinder/v-tec hondas
personaly I think it sound like someones farting when they rev their engines

Yes Chris, they sound likes farts to me also. I always refer to their 'farting exhaust' and thet pay alot of money for it, too. Give me glass packs and a v-8 rumble now that's the sound.

Be careful pimped. Its ok to dick with the civics, but don't f' with them REAL 93+ Prelude VTEC's. Those things push 190hp out of a 2.2L engine, bone stock. The prelude's are not to be taken lightly, go 0-60 in 7 seconds I do believe, same as a 99+ 3.8 Mustang.

I am never careful who I mess with. Hell I'll egg those "Minute Rice Owners" on. I want this guy to race me in his 01 prelude
V-tech, but he is too much of a pussy to take me. I have only lost once to a rice and was because the owner put Nos in his car or else I would have smoked him. But I never turn down race at a stop light.

You should be able to blow the doors off that fugly ass Prelude...but i dont think you would wanna run 'em against...say a Subaru WRX

What type of intrepid do you have lilgroby? If you have a 3.3 he'll kick your ass dude. Those preludes are light with small, powerful engines in them. If he has any mods that give it 200hp or more (like cold intake) he'll dust your ass man. If you have an R/T, then start talkin **** you'll dust his ass

I also know what you're talking about.. friends not racing you lol. I had a hard time getting to race my friends 99 3.8 mustang convertible. He wouldn't do it because his car was "too nice" to risk something like that lol!! He knew he'd get his ass kicked so he found excuses

Depends, he could easily beat an S (135hp, 2.2L), Si (160hp 2.3L), but the VTEC would give him a big run for his money (190hp 2.2L). Sure, he may have 25 more hp than the Prelude VTEC (stock), but the trep has to push a whole SHITLOAD more of weight than the prelude does. I'd like to see that race, it would be close, but i think the prelude would win.

depending on if the prelude is a stick, I think that the prelude would win, just because I personally know of some fast preludes around here, thats a pretty impressive car for a rice burner. Dunno, I have not raced a prelude, so therefore I dont know who would win, all depends on the transmission, vtech or not, and the driver....

there's a 95 or so VTEC prelude 5 speed in town that is completely stock that runs a 15 flat in the 1/4. he has since put a performance header on it and it's supposedly in the mid 14s now. all i know is that it sounds hilarious when the VTEC is screaming out that header, even though this guy doesn't have a fart can on his ride. i laugh even though he'd smoke any trep out there.

I want to race him because it would be a good race for me. I would like a challange for a change instead of these little wannabe muscle cars.

But I think that it is just pretty much stock. And as for a WRX. I would race just for the fun of it. But I know that I would probably get smoked like blunt.
