I have a 96 ES, 3.5L. I have a small oil leak...it doesn't drip on the ground or anything, but it did drip a little onto my exhaust, and now I occasionally have a burning oil smelling coming out of my vents. A mechanic tighted the valve cover gasket bolts, hopefully that will take care of the leak.
I bought engine de-greaser and sprayed the side of the engine where the oil was...then I sprayed it off with water. Is there anything else I can do? I really want this smell to go away, I'm hoping that it won't leak anymore, and the exhaust pipe will just burn off the excess oil. Any suggestions? Thanks
