During the summer time, when I'm not at school I also have 2 10" JL's with another MTX 8302 amp, Plus all the stuff listed below. New to come this summer will be new sub amps, custom enclosure, new subs. Im looking to do 3 JLW6 12". I will be selling my subs for cheap (i work at circuit city and i already got most of it for over 60% off) hint hint on how cheap i mean. The JL XR525CS are components with seperate external crossovers. for pics of my stuff goto http://uhaweb.hartford.edu/BELLAVANC/brads.htm

BC from Yonkers had a pretty kick ass system when he came down for the NYC meet. Maybe he can post what he has.

Dude, they were just saying "Best system" is really broad. It all depends on what you like, be it a DVD player with theatre surround or something that will hit 145dB.

Are capicators worth it? I got a rather small system.... (350W RMS peak, 700 peak.....)
Really don't have anything to compare it to, I would like to know if a CAP would increase sound quality or not.

Here's my Monster System:

Stock Chrsyler Tape AND AM/FM!!!
4 (count 'em 4!!) Speakers. (yup, it's stereo!)
oh, and a Sony FM modulated 10 Disc Changer

Man it cranks out the news better then in my 91 Escort.

I need some cash to dump into a system....ugh...

If your low beam lights and your dashboard lights dim, yeah, you need a cap, if not. You should be ok. The capacitor is mainly to help out the battery with the power. I don't think it will improve your sound quality, I think.

I definitely need a cap. Every time i crank up that bass, all my lights dim  Hopefully i'll get it this weekend.
