Been reading and searching and reading and searching and want to make sure I have this correct.....

I got this:
http://www.meguiars.com/?car-washes/Deep-Crystal-Car-Wash

Then I use this if I need it:
http://www.meguiars.com/?auto-detailing-clay/Smooth-Surface-Clay-Kit

Then this:
http://www.meguiars.com/?pro-pure-polishes/Show-Car-Glaze

I have this:
http://www.meguiars.com/?paste-car-waxes/Cleaner-Wax-Paste

But I can return it and get something else, like this:
http://www.meguiars.com/?paste-car-waxes/Gold-Class-Clear-Coat-Car-Wax-Paste

Then it's good to go for a while correct?????

Everything looks good. Yes, return the cleaner wax, shouldn't be necessary since you are claybarring and such.

I stay with teh NXT liquid wax, even the Meguiars rep says it as just as good as teh paste wax and a lot easier to work with.

Don't forget your micofiber clothes and applicators for wax

How do yuo like the liguid NXT Joe? I've been using the paste and I think it does a great job but I always get white dust working its way out of crevices a few days later. I assume the liquid is easier to use, but are the results as good?

From everything I hear about the #7 glaze it can be a ***** to work for a lot of people with but produces nice results. Personally, I'd pick a different glaze, lke maybe #5. I still have some NXT liquid wax and use it occasionally, but if I was picking a paste wax from Megs today I'd probably go with #26.

I'm not knocking NXT paste, just another option and a slightly different look cuz it's a 'nuba wax.

Ok, I found Fleet Farm had some stuff.......
Not what I wanted, but I got steps 1 2 and substatuted step 3 for NXT.

Decided to wash and inspect before I got the clay, so if I need it for next time I can get it from Fleet...

If you have a Carquest nearby, I'd go with Duragloss stuff. It's quality stuff. They've got 111, a quality liquid wax, and 105 just came on the market this summer, supposed to be their most durable paste wax ever. They have a prep product to help bond the wax that's really supposed to kick up the durability, I think it's 601 or something like that. And I really like the Aquawax spray wax for quick touch-ups. You can use it as a normal spray wax, a wax-as-you-dry, and some guys use it as a QD.
