Well guys, I shoulda lisened to the cold air intake nay Sayers, I bought and installed my j intake, I loved the looks, performance was noticeable (throttle response) and tones up the flowmaster nicely! But after a humid weekend the trep started runnin 5/8's and at half on the temp gauge, whereas before always at 3/8's at most, than today she crept up to 3/4... I've checked all connections, it's all air tight... I hate hot engines so I took it off, put the stock system back on, runs nice and cool. So has anybody expierenced this? I've even widened the air flow hole in the fender to try help, no good. So short of pulling a fog light and runnin a duct, or cutting a hole in the hood, I think I'm s.o.l. I loved the gains of the cold air, but looks as tho I may have to get a factory k&n, and keep it stock... I got the lenses smoked, and the 300 m interior is sickly!!!!! Thanks for the help fellas, maybe you guys have some ideas on getting my cold air operationable? Pull thermostat? Ideas?
