I am about to install a OTIS in my 94 Intrepid ES. Posts on this site talk about how to and there is lots of detail and has helped me to avoid several pitfalls. I have seen talk about a workaround to disable or disarm the VTSS.

Can anyone provide this info?

Is there a certain year of BCM that will or will not work in my 94?

Thanks much.

I'd start by assuming you've read the how-to, but just to be sure...

Are you sure you need to replace the BCM? If you have any one of the following: Auto Climate Control, VTSS, or a factory installed OTIS, you already have the premium BCM...

Other than that, i believe you'd be ok with anything from a 94-97 BCM. I think (but i could be wrong) there was some features missing on the 93' BCM's.

As for disabling VTSS... If you have keyless entry, unlocking the doors with the remote will disable it. Locking the doors with the remote will enable it. If you don't have keyless entry, let me know and i'll pm you the details of the workaround (it's much easier than you probably think...)

The otis install is very easy btw, i did it on my 95' Concorde before i sold it. Any questions i'd be glad to help!
