I have an 02 Grand Caravan, El (3.3l flex fuel) that has two (!) broken locking tabs on my radiator fan motors. The passenger's side stays plugged in despite the busted tabs but I discovered yesterday that the driver's side one does not and requires pressure to hold it in contact. This past summer I did notice at the hottest times if we would allow the van to sit running for more than a couple minutes the heat gauge would creep upward and we would have to either get moving or shut down to avoid overheating (and yes, I know shutting down can be worse beyond a certain point, but at times its unavoidable). I've been scouring google/autozone/oreilly/etc. for a difinitve part number and source and I'm not seeing anything certain. The closest thing I found comes up on Oreilly's search for this application but on the product page it is described as an oil pressure sender connector, which I realize it may share connectors with the fans, but I'd rather not order it if I'm going to be disappointed with the fit.

Also, does anyone know if I would be able to back the contacts out of my existing plug and install them in the new plug or is it necessary to cut and splice the wires? I'm not bad with re-pinning these connectors (I did the powertrain harness on my 94 Intrepid after I accidentally allowed the engine to crush the connector on the floor when I was doing the swap, so one identical mopar connector to another is no problem) but if they are different moldings and are incompatible that's a different story.
