UPDATE
Hey guys, I am grateful to all who have contributed to my previous post, while on my personal research I wanted to know more about the vehicle so I did what you guys recommended to get the carfax report, but I did found another website which is cheaper of course, it's Detailed Vehicle History Report For any Vehicle - 100% Accurate ( I recommend you guys if you don't want to spend $40), so in the report I found the auction records and the pictures of the vehicle, the damage seems very minor, I want you guys to have a look, and give me your thought. Thanks guys

Hey Dodge Intrepid team! Hope you all are doing well, thanks for having me here, straight to the topic, I'm interested in owning a 1996 Dodge Intrepid, This car has a SALVAGE TITLE! here in my location, before ending the deal, I really want to make sure that I'm getting a good reliable car for what I pay, I want to know that what I should be looking for when purchasing this Intrepid, anything to take into consideration, what to look for or any suggestion you guys have, please share it with me,

Some things that I will be looking out for during my inspection day:
noises in the engine
check transmission for slips jolts etc
verify all electrics / features / lights,
coolant or oil leaks
They are asking for the price of $2500 and it has 67939 Miles with a Salvage Title. Is it worth it or not?

If you guys have any suggestions on what to look at.
thanks

Thats true. I would still haggle a little if you can because while these are getting harder and harder to find, it's still got a salvage title. I'd find out if it was actually totaled or if it was just totaled by insurance. I saw a super clean 04 SXT with 40k miles selling for 4kk because they hit a deer and cracked the bumper and broke a headlight. The crack in the bumper was so small even up close it was hard to see and aftermarket headlights cost at most $190 a set so the insurance definitely totaled it out for these small things. Just do some research on this particular car if youre really interested in it.
Thanks for your suggestion, yes i will do some research on it.
