I don't have a pic, but I could try to explain it until someone can put one up. I think I am right on this, the two pipes come off each exhaust manifold, go into one pipe into the main cat, after the main cat the pipe goes into the big muffler way underneath the car. The pipe swings around to the left (drivers side) snaking around the big fuel tank and heads back out to the rear of the car into the resonator, which is the muffler-looking thing at the rear of the car.

What is the thing you remove to get that deep rumble? I want to print that out and take it to an exhaust shop and show him exactly what to remove and put a straight piece in.

if you're referring to a deep rumble like rarewolf's, you want to remove the muffler that's turned 90 degrees to the rest of the system. take that off and replace it with a length of tubing but you leave the small box in the back of the car(the resonator).

so just remove the muffler and stick in a piece of pipe and connect them? Is that legal? And if I ever get enough money to buy a flomaster 40 series delta, can I go back to it?

i don't see why it would be illegal because the cats are still on and there's still a muffler. replacing the muffler with a pipe, hence straight-pipe, is a replica of rarewolf's exhaust mod. there's no reason why it shouldn't be possible. as for putting a muffler in that spot later, i have no idea.
