Holy crap :) What a beautiful job man. I've never seen something like that, and I hope it stays like that even with the highest heat man :)

So how did you go about it? Use a good primer to smooth things out, then apply chrome like paint and polish it?

How to!

And wheres that intake from? I could use one like that to create more room for the air intake, because thats the only place I could securely put my alarm "horn"

The intake is off a spare 94 lhs engine I have.
some steps I took
1-take down the rough finish w/ 3m roloc wheels
2-D/A w/ 400 gritt
3-wet sand w/ 800
4-wet sand w/ 1000
5-polish w/ polishing rouge (3 stages)
6-hand polish w/ wadding polish
It seems to be standing up to the heat pretty well.

How many hours did it take?
It took total of about 8 hours. That was my first one, so I think I can get the time down. I'm doing another one now with some other products, to see if it is more time effective (and cost).
Thanks for the comments.

If you have two, why are you not custom fabbing us blower mount brakets? ;)
Seriously though, If i were you i'd port out the long block on that thing and toss it on your engine.

1st i'd have to come up with the money to buy a supercharger.
And I would have to change pistons to lower compression.
I am going to do some head work, but it's my daily driver and I don't want to go that crazy. I've got other toys to spend my money on.:D (finish my lil-red)

What I wanna know about is that intake filter set-up.................
It's a Cold Air Kit from a 1st gen Neon sohc motor. With some help of a sabre saw. I made a bracket to support it. The filter is a k&n inside a Ractive cover aimed at the hole in the fenderwell.

It's a truck, I loves trucks, almost as much as the car...............:D
Ya, it's 78 lil Red. I traded it more my 69 Barracuda about 5 years ago. I'll try to take some pics soon. My grandfather is reproducing all the wood on the bed for me. I got it as a wreck(cab caved in).
A slow work in progress. A dealer found a full decal kit for me. It was all dried out, but I had a lettering company reproduce them. My dad had one back in 81'-83' and I was always pissed that he got rid of it.
