Just for all those who don't know yet about the cigarette power outlet. In the fuse panel there are two postions for the fuse. One shuts off power when the car is turned off and the other allows power even if the key is out of the ignition. Great for using stuff like cell phones power cords without turning the car on.

Almost all the Intrepids come with the fuse set to the off position.

I believed this was mentioned in the video i got with my new ride. I decided against it... because if you leave something turned on overnight with the power off....

time to find those jumper cables. :)

Maybe a little off the subject, but is there a fuse setting for the windows?? I hate when I sit in the car with the ignition in access. (to listen to the radio) and I can't roll the window up or down. Will changing a fuse around fix that little problem?

I doubt that Chrysler would have made a feature that would allow you to run the windows with the key in accessory mode, or with the car completely off. But hey, I don't know everything. However, if you want, you can make a jumper that goes from the power lock fuse to the power window fuse, so that the windows work all the time......there might be another way to do it.....
