I just bought a 95 Intrepid. The drivers seat doesn't seem to go back far enough. There is nothing (that I can see) in the track preventing the seats movement, and the motor doesn't seem to be straining like it's getting stuck. The seat is able to move forward so much that it seems impossible for anyone to fit. The passenger seat looks like it is able to go 1 1/2 - 2 Inches further back.

My father has a 97 LHS and the power seat goes back further than mine. As far as I know they should be the same.

Any ideas of what it could be?

I would unbolt the seat from the floor and take it out of the car and inspect it further it could be possible something is jammed up in there it is hard to see when teh seat is bolted down. There is alot of moving parts under the seat.
