Can anyone give me a clue about the route I should use to get a +12V power wire, for a sub amp, from the engine compartment into the cab? Once inside the cab getting to the trunk is no problem.

REMEMBER TO MOUNT A FUSE AS CLOSE TO THE BATTERY AS YOU CAN

I'll tell ya what I did, tho it maybe not the best it werks for me.


I ran it from the batt thru the passenger side fender. On the body near the door hinges, and the lom for the door wiring, theres a grommet that was not being used so I cut it out and ran the wire thru there. The wire comes into the car behind the kick panel. Above the head light theres a small hole in the fender, I ran a fish thru there and pulled the wire foward but not thru that hole. I also removed the front tire and had access to the battery. On the inside of the fender theres a hole right above the batt, I ran the wire thru there, with a gromet, to the batt. I put split loom on the entire wire and mounted it with a clamp near where the front door and fender meet.

MOUNT A FUSE AS CLOSE TO THE BATTERY AS YOU CAN
