Please help! I am having a few problems with Internet Explorer 6.0..... Periodically when I click on a link, it will not go to it.. I have to keep clicking on it.. then finally it'll go to the site.. won't even show bar @ bottom to show it's loading... also.. sometimes.. IE will freeze up my computer.. then I will have to ctrl alt del then close IE, then it'll take out 1/2 of my icons next to my clock.. I am running Win. ME 128MB ram.. just upgraded ram.. so I know it's not that, I don't know what to do.. please help!

I have the same problem, sort of. I click on the link, the 'window' in the upeer corner does not move, there is no status on the botton, and no line that builds up, but yet my new page loads within 10 seconds...nothing I'm really complaining about..

Your problem probably is related to Windows ME. I have been running Windows 2000 Professional with IE 6 and have not noticed the problem you described.

Even now, running XP Professional, I have not noticed any problems.

I guess it's just another reason to avoid Windows ME if you possibly can.
