I was just looking and listening to your car, and just wanted to make sure, what part of the exhaust did you cut out? Resonator (big thing under seat) OR muffler (with two outlet spouts). It seems like it's quite loud, how bad is it? Good enough for occasional 'family trips'?
I love my 'Trep but I do haul my 15month old son around in her once in awhile, and would be afraid that she'd be too loud.
Your insights are appreciated.

the muffler is the big part under the seats and the resonator is the end with two spouts. he took off the muffler and straight-piped to the resonator.

platinum is correct on both counts.

The muffler is the big thing under the passenger seats, the resonator is the little thing at the end (with the tips). I cut off the muffler and straight piped it back.

It is 'loud' (per se), but not louder than, say, a mustang. It won't disturb your 15 month old.... :)
