My brother just bought a 2001 SE and he wants a remote for it, can we just pick up the remote unit at a junk yard then program a remote for it. But where does it hook up if I can hook it up. Otto, I think this is where you dazzle us with your infinite 'trep knowledge, thanks.

you need a receiver that plugs into the body controller(big black plastic module under the drivers side instrument panel near the park brake pedal) and a transmitter(this is the part you hold) All you need to do is find these parts and install them and it will work.
