Has anyone removed their Resonator Box from their Treps? I have a 2.7L and was thinking of just removing the Resonator box. Will this help in power, sound etc? or is it just a waste of time.

I would have liked to get the L intake for my 2.7L but noone is making them and I don't have the tools to make it myself...

I did`nt remove mine.But i took foil tape and blocked it off. It didnt sound any louder. And it should help the air flow a little bit.

Hey guys, Good News! K&N now has a perforamnce intake kit for the 2.7L Intrepid from what I was told. could this fit the 3.2L? Is the Air Filter hose the same diameter? I'm pretty sure I saw it.

Yeah, here's the info according to K&N. Intrepid 2.7L V6 F/I Aircharger Off Road Kit 63-1030. Off road kit does not mean your Intrepid has to be a 4X4, which is unlikely but probably that it is not completely street legal in most places.
