Im In the middle of taking out my seats so I can lift the carpet for the Dynamat. Trouble is the bolts dont wanna come out in the same spot on each seat. I have 3 bolts removed on each seat and the front bolts nearest to the center console on both seats keep turning and turning but wont come out any further. Any Ideas? Im stumped and Its Freezing out.

did you try screwing them back in and then retrying it? I think i had the same problem and i just grabbed on to the front of the seat and pull up really fast and it poped out.. Good luck!

try prying it out, only think i can think of, or get some big pliers and pull hard or wiggle the seat a bit when you try to take it out

well in my car when I removed the seats to do some vacumming, I noticed that that the bolts are the only thing covering the hole, meaning I could see down to the ground underneath the car.

What this means is that if u could slide under your car you might be able to see these bolts and maybe wd40 them or grease em up

Just an idea

good luck

Sounds like the thread is stripped you need to put presure on the back side of the bolt head. If you have a spare person get them to sit in the back seat and push on the track with their feet while you turn the nut. If you don't have a spare body wedge something behind the nuts head, to put presure on the bolt......

this same thing happened to my friends accord, had to have someone push from the back got them out but then we had to weld the seat to the body to get them to go back in, good luck.

Thanks for all the input guys. Im gonna have to try that stuff tomorrow since its only like 28 degrees and windy. I need the sun out to at least warm it up to high forties with hopefully less wind. I also have to take out a blow dryer on an extension cord to get the mat to stick.
