Since I'm now a repeat buyer of the Dodge Intrepid :) I thought it would be fun to find out who else out there is (I know there's a few).

I was talking to the guy at my work with a red R/T and he was telling me that he had a 94 ES before it, and he gave that to his son.

Well, if you mean a repeat INTREPID buyer, nope, this is my first one. :)

However, when it comes to Chrysler, before the 'Trep I had a '91 Sundance, before that I had a '89 Grand Voyager LE (parents' old one). :)

My parents' have had a couple of vans (they currently have a late 90's Town & Country).

My sister had a neon, but now has a 2000 Avenger ES.

:)

Hey, I'm only 24!

My girl friend had a Plymouth Arrow about 22 years ago. :)

My last few cars have been a used 1987 Honda CRX SI, that I bought for a song from a friend that moved out west. Before that a new 1987 Monte Carlo LS, and a new 1981 Grand Prix. I must say that I like my 2000 R/T more that all of the above combined!

Not sure what I'll be buying next, at least a few years out. I do like new hemi, but I'm not all that thrilled with the next gen "Intrepid" body. Maybe it will be time to move up to a 300N...

:)

I used to have a 94 ES, then I traded for the 99 ES I have now.

On my second...I had a 93 Concorde (totally loaded, every option with the 3.5)

Beleive it or not, I like my base Intrepid better. My old Concorde was very unreliable. So the fact that I've had my Intrepid for 2 1/2 years without a problem lends a sense of reliability to it. Which in turn, makes me like it more. But I wish I had all the options my Concorde had. I miss that leather!

Our first LH car was a 93 Eagle Vision (still have it 140k) which is my wife's.

I bought a new Intrepid in 95, and while dropping it off for an oil change the wife really like a 98 Dark Emerald Green 'Trep.
Took it home.

Trade it in a month ago for a 2001 R/T 'Trep.

This is my second Intrepid. I used to have a 95 Intrepid 3.3L. I ran that thing from 118,000 miles when I bought it all the way to 178,000 with very few problems, nothing major. It was an awesome car. It grew old gracefully, not all at once like a lot of cars with that many miles. :D

I had a '98 Intrepid SE (called base back then) until September 3 of this year when I traded it for a '02 SE. My parents gave me the '98 last year. it had 48k miles on it and held up considerably well considering 2 16-year-olds had learned to drive on it ;) :D

I'm only 17, so the ES was a bit out of the price range, and the R/T was lightyears away. Still, I'm really pleased with my car.

The LHS is the first Chrysler product my wife or I have owned, and we love it. Since we won't be able to buy new for a while, we plan on getting a great pre-owned second generation LHS in the next twelve months. Preferably a '99 or '00, but we'd settle for a '98.

In fact I saw a nice black second gen LHS with limo tint on all windows except the windshield (duh) with the chrome 17" rims, and it was loaded, every single option. Man, I almost came in my pants right there.

Of course it was driven by an older man.

The R/T is nice, as it the 300M, but man, give me an LHS any day, there is just something that simply states class and performance all in one. (Hell it is the 3.5L 253hp engine also found in the 300M.)

I totally agree LHSer...when the second Gen LH cars first came out, that car stood out to me also. It looks so "classy" and almost European in a "20's" kinda way. Hard to explain, but defintely my first choice.

The resale is horrible on them, I may just buy a used one if I ever decide to get rid of my Intrepid. I love the front end on them. Absolutely elegant. And the interior is the same as the 300M's, so at least from the inside you won't know the difference.

I still wonder those cars never really caught on.

Possibly because under the skin it is a 300M, and people being as they are will go with name recognition over anything else. (Although, IMHO, the LHS is better looking than the 300M.)

I wonder when we do get one, which won't be for quite a few months, if there would be a way to have the grill chromed, or at least painted to match the body colour.

Sorry to inform you LHSer and other DI.net posse but the LHS has been discontinued. I absolutley love the LHS and I wish they wouldn't get rid of it, but they just didn't sell that well.

Being a media insider (I am a staff writer for BON) I knew that a long time ago. Technically it is killed off, but you sill can get the LHS, it is now known as the Concorde LXi.

If you would have read my posts correctly you would have noticed that we will be buying pre-owned, possibly a '99 or '00 but we will be more than happy for a '98.
