I ordered a Remote control for my doorlocks and trunk from ebay and was wondering if there was a website with programming instructions... I'd rather not pay someone for five mins work to program my remote if I can do it myself. I also see the possibilities here for people to be dishonest with these locks so if ya can't tell me and you know, I understand. But if ya CAN tell me it be greatly appreciated :)

It should be in your oweners manual how to program additional remotes.

I believe the only way to program remotes is to have the dealership do it. I worked at a Dodge dealership in 1997 and if I remember right you have to hook up the Dodge monitor/scantool to the cars computer to do program remotes. I don't know how much they charge but, it is probably a half hour labor? Matt

Here's a summary from the 2000 manual, but you need at least one already programmed transmitter to start:

1) In Park, turn ignition key to ON.

2) On the programmed unit, hold UNLOCK at least 4 seconds, no longer that 10 seconds. Then hold PANIC for 1 second. Release both buttons. You should hear a chime.

3) Press ANY button on the new unit. You should hear another chime. You have 30 seconds to finish up to 4 units. Another chime signals time out.

:)
