I'm getting ready to do some work on my '04 Concorde, 2.7L (I know), and am wondering, once I replace the IAC, and the input/output speed sensors, can I just leave the battery disconnected for awhile to clear the codes, so that the check engine light won't come on, assuming that these three items "fix" all of the problems that my car has, or do I need to take it somewhere to get that cleared?
