I decided this might be something that should be moved from the old boards to the new. So I moved them here with GR8WHT's permission :)

--------------------------------------

Here are some pictures of the Low Restriction Intake (L_Intake) for the 3.2/3.5 V6 Generation 2.

This is the final production model and it now incorporates a sleeve around the metal tube to reduce heat pick up from the exhaust manifold (thanks to a friend for the suggestion) resulting in a cooler charge.

They come in Red/Silver/Black/Blue

Cost $140 including shipping and handling

If interested E-mail me at "[email protected]"

P.S, all that have ordered these, will get the new design

Stephen

Yeah, they don't post free pictures anymore...you have to pay for the service now. Something like $29.95 a year or something (don't quote me on the prices.)

Hey guys, I must admit to being overwelmed with the hi-tech world of forums and web sites. I just got my computer awhile ago and I still have fiugred this all out yet. Is the system mentioned earlier what produces no noise at normal cruising, but when it is punched, it sounds like the old four barrels we have all grown up with? If it is, I would like to get one. I have no idea what the paypall system is. If someone could email me at [email protected] with purchasing info I would be eternally in your debt.

what exactly does the low restriction intake do? Pardon my being a newbie. I've just gotten my 2001 R/T and have yet to really do anything myself on a car. I would like to get started getting to know my car. I assume this is a self-install thing. Any information on this would be appreciated. You can always email me.

Thanks Guys

GR8WHT,

Are your making the intakes for the 2.7L yet? I read about the first trial setup and it seemed to work very nicely. I am interested in purchasing your product. How complicated is the install? I am no mechanic, so will a novice under the hood be able to hook this up? Thanks for your help.

adaptabl - If you found a way to make an intake like the Lister "special" for $30, I'd be surprised. Not saying you didn't ... but I'd be surprised. The Lister takes off the funky plastic mount to the TB as well as a slick tube to the airbox with all fittings. It also removes the resonator box. Is yours a smooth tube from the TB or from the factory fitting at the TB? Reason I ask is ... if you look into that plastic 90 fitting you'll see the way it narrows down and then makes the turn toward the airbox.
